Jansport Mozambique

Christopher:
I borrowed this bag from Dana. (One hike with the ruck sack was more than enough.) It's a nice roomy bag that works well. Although it expands out to over 7,000 cu. inches, the standard configuration without the day-pack was more than enough for my weekend hike. Considering the only other pack I had to compare to this one to was the ruck sack, I loved it. But knowning what I know now, it's basically a suitcase you can wear on your back.
Upside:
- Huge capacity, I would run out of gear before I ran out of space
- If you have to travel to your destination, it can double as a suitcase.
Some of the features of real backpacking backpacks combined with features from a good travel suitcase.
Downside:
- No accessable water bottle pockets; non-adjustable torso; no padding along the back.
