Coleman Zero Degree Mummy Bag (regular): (a.k.a. Coleman Exponent Northbound 0 - shown above) Since I purchased this bag as a "Hot Deal" at Campmor, they have sold all of them and removed the listing from their site (see below). I couldn't believe my fortune in finding a zero degree mummy bag for around $40! The new version is being retailed for a nice price of only $69. It's packed with features like a draft tube, big fluffy Hollofil II loft, a draft collar, zip venting, etc. When it arrived, I was actually quite pleased. The only sacrifice seemed to be its weight. It weighed in at around 5 lbs. A little heavier than what I wanted, but it came at a great price. I used it two nights in the Coosa Back country of Georgia with nighttime temps in the upper 20s. It kept me nice and toasty. What was the downside for me? Its length was a bit too short. It was listed as long enough for someone who is 6' 3". Being that size, I can tell you that it was perhaps two inches optimistic. I fit in it okay, but even though my feet were up against the end of the bag, I couldn't draw the hood down enough to make a nice tight ring around my face. Nice bag, optimistic stats. My wife (shorter) has been very happy with the gift!

Upside:

Draft tube and draft collar

Very fluffy and soft loft make for well padded snoozing

Very warm

Price

Downside:

At 5.5 lbs. It's a little on the heavy side (I've referred to it as "The Tank")

Length statistic was at least two inches optimistic

Its fluff makes it a little difficult to stuff into a backpack's sleeping bag

Why this bag was a close-out sale buy...

After some research, it seems that my bag was "Exponentized" and given new life. This bag (specs below) is the same in all aspects except name and color. Seems my old bag was closed out in order for the new Exponet version to take it's place.
